I am so excited to have you join my weekly subscriptions. I will be sending you weekly content and tips for how we start our mornings in positive way. My daily routine is considered sacred to me, and is know in Sanskrit as Dinachatya. A daily routine can bring radical change in body, mind, and into consciousness. It can help a regulate our sleeping/waking patterns, aids digestion, generates self-esteem, discipline, peace, happiness and longevity – who doesn’t want this!
So here’s my first 2 steps to kick starting our morning routine! Are you ready…
- Begin with an Intention – An intention can be anything you wish, to bring focus to the pattern of your day. Take time to bring this intention into your awareness and weave it through your day. This could be practicing breathing techniques throughout the day, a prayer, an affirmation or movement of the body. ” Thank you for this beautiful day before me. May joy, love peace and compassion be part of my life and all those around me”
2. After setting your intention or voicing your prayer, Go out into the garden, take just a few minutes to walk bare foot in nature. Feel your feet grounding into the grass, feel that energy rise into your body from mother earth. Walking barefoot is also known as “earthing” and has gone from a bit “wooo wooo” trend to a scientifically researched practice with a number of health advantages such as reducing inflammation, improving concentration, and grounding bring focus and concentration to help set up your day.
