Drop in Beginners Yoga, Tuesday 7pm


The class will be a combination power, flow and breath work.  Depending if you want to build strength, deepen flexibility while quietening the mind, Marie’s classes encourages you to honour your body, notice what works for you and over 6 weeks see the progression deepen within the poses (asanas).  Discover simple ways to relax with renewed energy. Learn how to incorporate Mindfulness & breathwork with gentle yoga for ultimate physical & emotional well-being.

Explore how to reduce the triggers that deplete energy. Marie works very much with aligning Mind, Body, Breath to ensure you move and transition in to poses with awareness. This class is suitable for complete beginners and intermediates as modifications will be given to deepen or simplify the poses. Class will finish with a deeply relaxing Savasana meditation.

Join Marie each Tuesday evening at 7pm for 1hr 15 mins each week in the beautiful tranquil setting of Marie’s newly fitted out studio.  Please ensure to bring water & a mat if you have one. Mat, Straps, Blocks, Bolsters provided. This class promises to be an experience of connection with Mind, Body, Breath!  Give yourself the gift of 1hr 15 mins and allow yourself to unplug, unwind, relax & recharge.

Marie incorporates Vinyasa which is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another seamlessly using breath as your anchor. Some classes will be Yin yoga, deeply relaxing yoga targeting a specific area and holding the poses for a longer duration helping to release fascia, here we use props, bolsters, cushions etc to help stay with the pose.
