I write this blog from my back garden in the sunshine at almost 10pm, what a pleasure! We had a beautiful chakra meditation online this eve and it was just so powerful. I have been facilitating classes online on a Monday eve at 8.30pm. The energy tonight from the group was just so calm. As the facilitator I could feel myself going deeper in the meditation….Now if your reading this and thinking “I cant meditate, my mind wont allow me, I’m not a meditator etc”…… that’s ok. We’re not here to sit in lotus position with a mind as calm as the sea, that just isn’t possible, especially when we have a minimum of 10,000 thoughts in any one day.

Last week has been a very special week for me, I graduated as a Yoga Teacher, and not only that, but I taught my very first class the following day, I have been incredibly lucky to have such a supportive group of friends and family. I am full-filling my dreams slowly, and you can too. You have to trust yourself and open your energy up, allow people to support you, ask for help when you need it, don’t be afraid of wanting change or a better life for yourself, our paths take us in many directions.
Lots of projects are unfolding and I am seizing the day and opening up opportunities.
On the 13th July I will start a 6 week course in person at DISTRICT FITNESS ATHENRY teaching Vinyasa Flow Yoga – connecting Mind, Body, Breath. Depending on what you want, this class will help you build strength, deepen flexibility while also connecting to the breath and quietening the mind, allowing our energy to open and receive. My class encourages you to honour your body, notice what works for you, you don’t need to be “bendy”, you don’t need the perfect body – we are all unique with different strengths & weaknesses – see the progression deepen within the poses (asanas). I work very much with aligning mind, body, breath to ensure you transition safely with awareness.
